A few weeks ago my friend Carry Parry and found ourselves on the High Line taking in the sun and conversing about the typical things designers/business owners preoccupy themselves with; sales, getting our collections more exposure, budgets, samples and such. Carry also mentioned that she and her friend Meghan Sebold from Afia were attempting a new strategy. Meanwhile, I was talking to my friend Tara from Study NY, about the same issues. As it turns out Meghan and Carry were plotting a brilliant idea; Bring it to the People Pop Up Shop. It’s exactly what it sounds like. We will be making our best stuff accesible to everyone that wants to check it out at the Soho Lofts on Mercer Street from June 23-24. Organized by us (the designers) and for the people, this pop up shop will be like no other I have ever participated in. We all collaborated, got organized and birthed this event. Bring It to the People Pop Up Shop
SOHO (June 23 and 24th)- New York’s best independent fashion labels will make their collections available to the people in a collaborative pop-up shop. The Soho Lofts will transform into an exclusively curated boutique with clothing, jewelry, accessories, and swimwear from some of the most sought after and innovative designers in New York City.
Located on the 4th floor of the Soho Lofts at 52 Mercer Street, recently named “Space of the Week” by New York Magazine, the pop-up shop will open from 11am-7pm on Saturday June 23rd and from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday the 24th. Come meet the designers on Saturday from 4-7pm and enjoy beats and drinks.
